Voith Turbo Schneider Propulsion

Voith Marine is established in the maritime industry since the early 1920s with its unique Voith Schneider Propeller (VSP). Today, particularly specialized offshore vessels and tugs benefit from the VSP through precise maneuvering, even under adverse conditions. In recent years, Voith inspired the industry with innovative developments as  the Voith Inline Thruster (VIT) as well as the Voith Linear Jet (VLJ). Therefore, the company also took the technological lead in the fields of transverse thrusters and propulsion systems for fast vessels. The Marine Division is part of Voith Turbo GmbH & Co. KG.
